Import products from csv (xls)

Hello,

Is it possible to make importation of goods from a file csv or xls?

I also would like to know if it's possible to import products with a csv file or maybe via an API, in version 1.1.1. I can see that all the products are stored in the 'content'-table and that the sku's (added via Shipping and Options) are stored in 'content_data'-table.
